This is our first trip to Sri Lanka, the trip went very well. Sarah did very well in recommending a stay in Haputale/ Ella & not Nuwara Eliya. In hindsight I would have loved to stay an extra day in Haputale insdtead of Kandy. Live chat/ UK & HK phone numbers set up is excellent. You were the only ones to pick up my request on a Sunday & respond promptly. Kudos to Sarah & team for this.

Thanks a lot for a great trip. Our tour guide John was very professional and helpful. Farzaan our tour operator went above and beyond to fix the mistake our hotel did. We really appreciate all the efforts done to make us enjoy our trip. Thank you, we will most certainly come back with the rest of our family.

I would like to thank Suresh for helping make our visit to Sri Lanka so enjoyable. He is professional, friendlt & has a great sense of humor so we laughed a lot. His knowledge of his country is impressive. I particularly enjoyed his ability to spot wild life & tell us what we were seeing. He has eagle eyes!
I loved seeing the elephants in the park + Sigiriya – wonderful. Dambulla was interesting. The dancing in Kandy was great as were the botanical gardens. Suresh took us to the Temple of the tooth during a ceremony which was brilliant. The train ride was marvelous.
What Suresh did do was show us waterfalls & roadside stalls & wild life etc that we really enjoyed.
My career has been customer service for 25+ years, so I am very aware of good/ bad customer service.
Suresh’s customer service is top notch! 10/10 🙂
If/ When we come back to Sri Lanka I would certainly hope he could be our guide again. Thank you.

What made this trip unforgettable was the Wild life & Ranjith. His wealth of knowledge and passion for his country is inspiring. I fell ill and Ranjith was there straight away to take me to hospital as well getting me medicine/ local remedies from the chemist. He then continued to check on my welfare through out. A truly fantastic guide.
Ranjith also made sure we got out and about and took us to places including a stunning temple and elephant nursery. We also never went hungry with his excellent choices to lunch.
This country is steeped with history, culture and beautiful scenery and is not to be missed.
We love Sri Lanka!!!

Our stay in Sri Lanka has been a “Pinch me” trip. We have totally fallen in love with the beautiful country, food and people. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, especially Sherman our wonderful guide.
Vil Uyana was one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed. You instantly feel “Zen” on arrival. We visited Kaudulla National Park and were lucky enough to see a couple of hundred of elephants. We also climbed Sigiriya Rock and visited Anuradhapura. The food at Vil Uyana was delicious but with a fairly limited menu you might not want to stay too long.
On the drive to Kandy we stopped at the Dambulla cave temple which were awesome to see. The Kandy House is the most lovely serene hotel. You feel that time has stopped around you. The food and service were both the best we have had in Sri Lanka and it was a complete pleasure to stay there. The ten course curry special was definitely the best curry we’ve ever had. The botanical gardens…. were beautiful and lovely yo stroll around.
The train from Kandy to Ella was mesmerising – I couldnt stop taking photos. The views in Ella and particularly at 98 Acres are insane just unbelievably beautiful. Our room was equally as epic. We climbed Ella Rock which was amazing. The views got better and better with every step. We also climbed Little Adams Peak for sunrise which was nice little pound off to our stay in beautiful Ella.
We are now heading to Cape Weligama – which looks picture perfect!
Sherman couldnt have looked after us better – he genuinely wanted is to learn about and love the country as much as he does. The HQ team were fantastic too – we changed the itinerary a few times before booking and it was never a problem. Farzaan also called us a couple of times during our stay to check we were happy with everything.
It has really been the best trip, a great balance of nature culture and indulgence! Thank you so much we would recommend Sri Lankan Dreams to anyone without hesitation.

Supremely impressed with the whole team at Sri Lankan Dreams, both the office & on the tour.
Shiral kept us interested on the long drives & amused the children. Always went to do that little bit more for all of us. Sanath and Kumara were superb. Quietly efficient, kind & considerate very polite. Carried tiered child on a walk!
