This was our first trip to Sri Lanka. We had no reconsidered ideas of what to expect. We had been advised by our friends to ask for Sherman to be our driver. He did not let us down. He was worth his height in gold. He took care of everything for us at each hotel. He made sure we were checked in before he left us. He was safe and careful driver. He was obliging and helped us with everything we needed. When I recommend Sri Lankan Dreams to my friends I’ll definitely recommend they ask for Sherman. HE is an asset to your company and you should not let him go. He is interesting and knowledgeable.
The hotels were varied and individual. Each with it’s own merits but consistently the staff were always polite, helpful and friendly. All our needs were met. The food were always varied and tasty and plentiful. Overall we had an amazing holiday and we will definitely come back.

I write this overlooking Ella gap from our beautiful room here at 98 Acres (wow!)
I am on my first visit to Sri Lanka travelling alone with my 3 children and I have to say I am loving every single place we have visited so far. I had felt safe and very confident with our driver Deepthi. As recommended you definitely need a driver with local knowledge to enjoy all that this beautiful country has to offer. I don’t think any country has so many different things to see and do as Sri Lanka does.

Sarah from Sri Lankan Dreams put together a 26 night tour package including top Option Accommodation and half board which includes Breakfast and a Dinner. As some of the Accommodation is isolated this saves having to look for food in the evening.
The tour was great with highlights of Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage with 40 mid to small Elephants frolleking in the river and all the antics they get up to. Then there was two Safaris which were amazing. We had a close encounter with a herd of Elephants who were protecting a baby. I got amazing footage on video. Botanical Gardens in Kandy were also great. Sigiriya and Anuradhapura were cultural experiences not to be missed. Climbing Little Adams Peak and Cave Rock Temple were also a must.
Accommodation generally was great. We had two bad experiences that Farzaan the Manager was able to fix. We would recommend not going to Sinharaja Rain Forest as the walk is leech infested and very dangerous under foot. Stay away from Boulder Gardens Accommodation.
The motive for the holiday was a relaxing Beach stay. We made the mistake of splitting it four days Trincomalee and four days Passikudah. Give Trinco a miss as it is too isolated with nothing to do. Anantaya
Resort Passikudah was amazing. We were upgraded to third walk up beach view and I would highly recommend to pay the difference and do that. The facilities are great and there is Swimming, yoga, Jet Skiing, Snorkling and Sailing. All of the extras are paid for by us and we could decide to do them or not.
The other accommodation was great to fantastic with our final stay in Negombo at the amazing Heritance. It is so much nicer than the first Negombo Resort and we wish we’d stayed two nights here at both ends of our amazing holiday.
We had Private Vehicles and Driver Guides Shiral who was great, until he got sick and management decided to replace him so that we wouldn’t catch whatever it was he had. That was considerate of them. Sam was our replacement knowledgeable driver and Sherman drove us the six hours from Passikudah to Negombo.
All in all it was a action filled adventure followed by a relaxing beach stay. I would highly recommend Srilankan Dreams to anyone looking for a well organised trip at a reasonable price.

With Ranjith we think improvement would be difficult because he is so professional, punctual, knowledgeable, amazing!

We had a fantastic honeymoon and Vipula was the reason why. He treated us like he had known us forever and shared us Sri Lanka the way he wanted to see it through the eyes and heart of a proud and kind hearted Sri Lankan.
We couldn`t have asked for more the only suggestion we could possibly give is to give him a raise!
As long as Vipula works for you we will always recommend Sri Lankan Dreams. We can honestly say that our honeymoon has felt like a dream. So thank you for everything and we hope your business thrives and people get to see Sri Lanka like we did until the end of time. It is a beautiful country with beautiful people. Thank you.

The trip was wonderful and everything was well planned out. The drive would planned the next day with us the previous day. You definitely need a driver as there is a lot of driving and the other drivers on the roads are crazy (in a nice way).
Sarah in the office was great in the planning process. She was very patient and helpful.
When we had an issue with one of the hotels it was resolved very quickly and Sri Lankan Dreams to prompt action. Our driver Vips has been outstanding. Great driver and tour guide at the same time. He has been very organized, very friendly and jowial.
Overall we have been extremely happy and will definitely recommend Sri Lankan Dreams and Vips.

Overall a friendly fantastic trip. Everything from the booking process through to the hotels and tours have been exceptional on average. A particular mention to Ranjith who has been punctual informative and ensured our trip ran very smoothly. Indeed he is a real gentleman and a joy to be around.

We have ad a truly amazing time travelling around Sri Lanka. Ranjith has looked after us well & his knowledge of Sri Lanka is fascinating. We wish we had stayed for longer so we could have had an extra night at Sigiriya, Kandy & Ella as we felt we didn’t have enough time at each hotel (our fault as we only wanted 10 days). The only improvement I can suggest is making the itinerary slightly clearer so people know they will be visiting places during the journey between places. This was a good thing but we had ruled things out thinking we couldn’t have enough time to do them. Overall a wonderful experience & I will certainly recommend Sri Lankan Dreams to friends & family.
